According to Deloitte, back to school shopping is the second biggest shopping season of the year with 27 billion in sales in the US. The National Retail Federation's annual survey conducted by Proper Insights & Analytics showed that as of early August, just 45% of shoppers have checked everything off their list. It's the lowest number since 2012!
How do you get these shoppers into your store before the school season starts? As a retailer, offering engaging "back to school" games and hands-on demo stations is a great way to capture the attention of parents. Many parents are undecided about whether they will shop online or in-store - so give them a reason to come through your doors!
Every once in awhile people call in asking about our games and puzzles and inevitably we hear, "Are board games still popular?" or "Do a lot of people do puzzles?" The answer is an emphatic, "YES!!"
Canada Day is a time of celebration and thanksgiving! Every year cities across the nation colour the streets in their red and white threads, face paint and waving flags. The aroma of street vendors preparing sticky confections and fried foods waft through the air mingling with the sound of cheers and stage performers. It's a time to be grateful in community, especially in 2017, as Canadians commemorate 150 years of Confederation! Communities will join together to celebrate our diversity and the freedom to live as one nation.
Are you looking for date night ideas? Whether you go on a double date or keep the person you're romancing to yourself, board games are a great way to get connected.
