We made the choice to print our puzzles in the United States, rather than acting on temptation for cheaper production costs in China. The choice to manufacture in the United States keeps our puzzles from traveling across the sea, which would add to air, water, and oil pollution. You can feel good about buying Cobble Hill puzzles knowing that not only are we quite eco-friendly, we bring you a solid quality jigsaw puzzle.

• All of the cardboard is made from 100% recycled material
• Puzzle board is 100% post consumer (a high-post consumer content diverts materials from ending up in landfills)
• Box board is at least 80% post consumer
• Plastic bag is biodegradable (capable of being decomposed)
• Puzzle and box board is 100% recyclable
• Shrink Film is recyclable
• The ink is vegetable based
• Packaging meets or exceeds all of the CONEG requirements
• Puzzles meet or exceed the requirements of CPSIA

The random-cut pieces add an element of intrigue.  The same puzzle image doesn't necessarily use the same puzzle die cutting template, making each puzzle unique in its craftsmanship!  Built to last, our puzzles are made from premium grade blue board and even the box has a beautiful linen finish. Cobble Hill offers several categories of puzzles to choose from:  T.O.P. Puzzles,  2000 piece, 1000 piece, 500 piece, 400 piece Family Puzzles, 275 piece Easy Handling Puzzles, Floor Puzzles and Tray Puzzles.  We take a lot of time to choose jigsaw puzzles that emit a certain nostalgic feel and quality to them before choosing to license one from an artist.  We also commission artists to create original paintings for exclusive use as a Cobble Hill puzzle.  Look for the "© Cobble Hill Puzzle Company" symbol, indicating this is an original puzzle only found in the Cobble Hill brand.

Specialty Puzzles

What are Family Puzzles?  It's a special puzzle designed with three different size pieces to allow children and adults of all ages to manipulate the puzzle pieces easily.  A Family Puzzle includes 400 various sized pieces. The large pieces, perfect for kids hands, are on one side.  The medium pieces are in the middle and small pieces are on the other end.  This ensures that both little and adult sized hands can easily grasp the pieces and puzzle together!  With lots of delightful images to choose from, we're sure you'll enjoy a Cobble Hill Family Puzzle.

Is there a difference between Family Puzzles 400 and Family Pieces 350? Yes! After listening to our fans, we have made an improvement to our puzzles designed for families. The Family Pieces 350 has more large and medium sized pieces providing for better collaboration between the younger or less skilled puzzlers and those apt at assembling puzzles with smaller pieces. Also, the finished size of the puzzle in a 350 piece is larger at 26.625" x 19.25" vs 24" x 18". The Family Pieces 350 still have three varying piece shapes that cascade from right to left or top to bottom, so everyone can still enjoy the puzzle experience together!

Easy Handling Puzzles features 275 larger sized pieces so the visually impaired can easily see the portion of the image to piece together.  Our Seniors love doing these puzzles because they don't take as long to complete like a 1000 piece puzzle, but it still provides hours of enjoyment. They are also great for grandparents and grandchildren because the larger sized pieces makes picking up the pieces a lot easier.  Cobble Hill features many nostalgic, very sweet images in the Easy Handling Puzzles.  We hope you enjoy them.

Truly Original Puzzles (T.O.P.) are quality jigsaw puzzles that were created in-house by Cobble Hill Puzzle Company in order to bring our fans something truly original. The T.O.P. puzzles are simply one more way of offering the most original, carefully thought out, and interesting puzzle for our amazing fans. Our Creative Team, carefully chooses themes for our photo shoots like Teacups, Plenty of Yarn and Ice Cream. Then, they meticulously place each object in place for every photo, ensuring our fans get the most interesting jigsaw puzzle only found through the Cobble Hill brand. In 2020, our team branched out from creating physical original works of art to illustrated - so we chanaged the T.O.P. line from Truly Original Photo to Truly Original Puzzles.  Many of our best selling puzzles are a part of the T.O.P. line including our entire Sweet Time Series puzzles that include favourites like Frozen Treats and Breakfast Sweets.
