About the Game

PickTwo Deluxe is the always-changing, ever-rearranging crossword game. Players draw tiles, building their own personal crosswords as fast as they can. Whenever players use all their letters they yell "Pick Two" and everyone draws two more tiles. The catch? These tiles must now be added to your crossword. The best part? You can always change your crossword by rearranging letters and even words to use up your tiles. When the centre pile of tiles is gone, the first one done wins the round.

Why we created PickTwo® Deluxe

Since I founded Outset Media, I have had the opportunity to play hundreds and hundreds of games. Some have been excellent, some ... well, let's just say some needed to go back to the drawing board. There is certainly never a dull moment around our offices.

As a company, we have resisted licensing games from outside game inventors, simply because we can develop our own games in-house. I kept saying "why pay someone else to invent a game when that is what we do for a living."

So, when the seasoned game inventor, Gary Gatchel, sent me a copy of his PickTwo® game, I thought "Here we go again." Boy was I wrong!!! PickTwo® was the best word game I had ever played. And I do mean the best... even better than word games that have sold millions of copies worldwide. We began distributing Gary's game, and after good success decided to license the game and create PickTwo® Deluxe. With 60 letter tiles, proportionally fewer "wild" tiles, and high-quality packaging, in my opinion PickTwo® Deluxe is absolutely the best word game ever!

What makes PickTwo® Deluxe so good? It's fast, it's exciting, and it's a game where everyone is playing at the same time. There is none of this sitting around watching someone think about what word to play next.
