Annual alien conference? Beam Me Up!
Victoria, BC, July 8, 2005 – Game company Outset Media announced today the release of Beam Me Up, the game where recognizing aliens is a real advantage. The game is one of three new educational card games for young children.
“Beam Me Up is galactic fun!” says David Manga, president of Outset Media. “We created this game in response to the demand for fun, high-quality educational games for younger children. They learn and have fun at the same time by matching aliens.”
In Beam Me Up, the Annual Alien Conference is in full swing and the aliens are stuck on the moon without transportation. Space traffic controllers have to organize the aliens into matching groups. Then they call out Beam Me Up and a Space Racer comes to the rescue. Players try to send home the most aliens to win.
Beam Me Up helps young children develop decision-making, symbol recognition and grouping skills. Beam Me Up is designed for 2-4 players ages 6 and up.
