Wordies get something to shout about

 
Victoria, BC, July 20, 2005 – Word game lovers have something to shout about today, as game maker Outset Media announces the upcoming release of Pick Two Deluxe. The game is slated for an August debut.
 
“PickTwo Deluxe is absolutely the best word game ever,” claims Outset Media president David Manga. “It’s fast, it’s exciting, and it’s a game where everyone is playing at the same time. There is none of this sitting around watching someone think about what word to play next.”
 
Another feature that sets it apart from other word games is the shouting. Players draw letter tiles, building their own personal crosswords as fast as they can. Whenever a player uses all their letters, they shout “Pick Two” and everyone draws two more tiles.
 
Players have to add the new tiles to their crossword, but they can change it by rearranging letters or words to use up tiles. Once all the tiles are drawn, the first one done wins the round.
 
Word game players are often seen as calm, quiet types. Will they embrace shouting as part of game play? “You bet they will,” claims Manga. “They won’t be able to stop themselves. This game is always changing and always rearranging. And that makes it something to shout about.”
 
PickTwo Deluxe is recommended for ages 8 and up, 3 to 8 players.
