FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Armchair travel has never been so good!

Victoria, BC, June 24, 2005 –If this year’s budget doesn’t allow for globetrotting, send your children on a trip around the world without leaving home, with a new game released today by Outset Media.

The new game is a companion to the successful Countries of the World. “With Countries of the World II, kids don’t have to leave home to explore new lands,” says Outset Media president David Manga. Manga says discovery is essential for children, whether on the road or in their imaginations. “Whether kids actually travel to other countries or not, they are usually curious about faraway places,” he says.

“Plus, our games are a lot of fun. Kids have such a blast, they don’t even realize they’re learning,” he adds.

The game cards have maps on the front and questions on the back. There are two categories, easy and hard, so kids of all ages can play together. A question on the Haiti card is “I am located on what Caribbean island?” and a question on the Europe card is “What is my tallest mountain?”

This game is from the Professor Noggin’s card game series. The games have won ten major awards, and media and award groups agree that the games are great for travel. Professor Noggin recommends her games for ages 7 and up.
