New Professor Noggin’s card game helps kids be good pet parents
Victoria, BC, June 24, 2005 –A new game from the Professor Noggin’s card game series will help kids be better parents to their pets. Outset Media released Pets today, to purrs and yips from the pet kingdom.
“Most children want to adopt pets but they often don’t know what is involved in caring for them. With Pets, kids can find out about many kinds of animals before they bring them home,” said David Manga, president of Outset Media. “Kids really like playing our games. They’ll learn about proper care of pets without even realizing it,” he added.
Pets game cards have animal illustrations on the front and questions on the back. There are two categories, easy and hard, so kids of all ages can play together. Players win cards for answering questions correctly. One question the Turtles card asks is “What should you always do after handling a turtle?” (Wash your hands!)
Parents will also like this game. It can help their children get ready for pet ownership and care. In addition, Professor Noggin’s games have won ten major awards. Media and award groups say the games are great for travel, too. Professor Noggin recommends her games for ages 7 and up.
